But since that is not possible for everyone, I have designed these free German lessons so you can learn German at home. There are studies that show the best way to master your vocabulary is to read books, so this course has been designed to get you to the point where you have enough understanding to pick up a book and read it on your own.
Research shows that the 1000 most frequent German words make up over 80 percent of the words people speak and write on a daily basis. Through our unique vocabulary builder, you will learn these words and more!
These free German lessons help you learn German because they are based on repetition and recall. Each lesson is built on the previous material, and everything you learn is repeated until you understand it. You didn't learn your first language by memorizing vocabulary or Grammar. You learned it by using it. Perhaps you have plans to travel in Germany, or have a German friend. Maybe you're taking a course and need some extra practice — whatever your reasons are for learning the language, this course has been designed for you!
